Must be 18 years of age or older. Previous bartending experience preferred. Must be knowledgeable of Michigan Liquor Control Commission Laws.

The bartender is responsible for mixing, serving drinks, and providing the food service needs for their guests. They are required to keep accurate records of inventory, breakage sheets and also stock supplies as needed. The bartender's goal is to provide positive, professional, and courteous service in a fast-paced exciting environment. The Bartender works closely with the Bar Supervisor

• Service guests within one minute of their arrival, using suggestively selling and serve bar beverages responsibly, and within legal guidelines, presentation of accurate guest checks
• Respond to all bartender pages in order to pick up customers' order in a timely fashion
• Perform all side work duties, to include opening, ongoing, and closing duties, perform special cleaning duties as assigned by supervisors and management
• Assists in keeping guest's areas and bar clean, sanitized and presentable
• Communicate with managers regarding shift activities, problems, and product concerns
• Keep updated on current casino and restaurant promotions
• Monitor the condition of the bar cleanliness and appearance and assist in bar maintenance when necessary and daily maintenance of all bar equipment and supplies
• Understand and run your own till and cash out guests, in a timely and smooth manner
• Verification of pre-shift Bar stock/readiness
• Complete job related paperwork and reports
• Ensure security of all locked doors
• Use Tip training for verifying, monitoring, and intervention purposes
• Willingness to cross-train and provide support in related areas of operations
• Other related duties as assigned

• Must have excellent organizational skills, and be able to follow strict procedures
• Must possess the ability to work with various personalities while maintaining impartiality
• Must respond to supervisory guidance and assignments and accept constructive criticisms in order to learn new, updated information.
• Must participate in on-going training sessions and staff meetings
• Must possess excellent math and people skills.
• Must be willing and able to be cross-trained to perform other front of the house duties when directed by management


Bartenders use the following equipment but are not limited to the following: Micros, calculator, BIB Soda System, Bag-in-box Beverage System, CO 2 tanks, blenders, liquor guns, and beer taps etc.

• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk for entire shift
• Must be able to reach, bend, stretch, kneel, crawl, lift and carry
• Must have good grooming habits and manners

• Must be able to effectively handle stressful and compromising situations
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, stressful atmosphere, having the ability to deal with difficult situations and people without losing perspective while remaining focused, positive and professional
• Must be able to work productively under strict time restraints with variable deadlines
• Must be able to work independently and make decisions

• Must be able and willing to work in a crowded, loud, smoking environment and work in a confined space if necessary
• Must be able to handle being under constant surveillance
• Must practice all safety policies, procedures and standards as set by OSHA and Health Dept.
• Must be in work station @ scheduled time and in proper uniform
• Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays and special events etc.

• Native American and Tribal Preference will apply
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and a drug urinalysis as a condition of employment
• Must be able to work flexible hours and to take on additional responsibilities when asked
• Must adhere to company policies regarding strict confidentiality
